Pedal Kajak rents pedal kayaks and accessories for use on Arresø and surrounding areas under the following terms and conditions.

2. Booking, rental period, and equipment Pedal Kajak offers pedal kayak rentals for periods ranging from 3 hours to a full day. Life jackets and necessary safety equipment are included in the rental. The kayaks are stable and easy to use for both beginners and experienced users. The minimum height for participants is 150 cm. Bookings are made via the website and are only valid once payment has been received and confirmation has been sent by email. 3. Delivery, launch, and instruction The kayak is picked up on a trailer at Nørrevangen 1, 3300 Frederiksværk, with the help of staff. Customers must carry the kayak to the launch site themselves, but thorough instruction on use and safety is provided before departure.

4. Safety and responsibility Life jackets must always be worn while sailing. Renters must be able to swim and must not be under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances. Renters are responsible for the equipment throughout the rental period. Damage caused by irresponsible use may be invoiced in the form of repair or replacement. Sailing is at your own risk.

5. Cancellation and changes Cancellation more than 48 hours before departure: full refund. Cancellation less than 48 hours before departure: no refund. Changes can be made up to 48 hours before departure.

6. Cancellation by Pedal Kajak We reserve the right to cancel bookings in the event of dangerous weather conditions, technical problems or other safety considerations.

7. Insurance Renters are advised to have their own liability and accident insurance.

8. Arrival, drop-off, and delays Renters must arrive 10–15 minutes before the booked time. Delays will reduce the rental time. Exceeding the rental time will result in an additional fee.

9. Personal data (GDPR) Pedal Kajak collects personal data for the purposes of handling bookings, payments, and security. Data is stored securely and only shared with necessary service providers.

10. Complaints Complaints must be sent to kontakt@pedal-kajak.dk no later than 7 days after the rental.

11. Force majeure Pedal Kajak cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control.

12. Choice of law and jurisdiction Danish law applies. Disputes will be settled in Danish courts.
